AWARE provides Energy Solutions by using Agricultural Waste As a Resource of Energy. Agricultural (Processing) Waste is considered to be a renewable source of energy as long as it used wisely. Agricultural waste is a widely available type of biomass that does not interfere with the food supply chain. Biomass becomes a source to power an engine that produces electricity and heat. The produced energy be used to meet current electric demands of an adjacent facility or can be exported to the grid, if present. Heat can be re-used as an energy source for a cooling unit (using absorption systems) for post-processing cooling.
